We write these articles with the desire that we inspire your heart to walk with God with the faith and hope that comes from The Scriptures. Gary, Sam, and Berry write regular articles about topics God puts on their hearts, and they warmly welcome comments, observations, and sharings.
I love to help people find clarity, calling and courage.
Clarity: Understanding their story and what it reveals about who God has created them to be and what He has uniquely give to them to offer to others.
Calling: Discovering, developing and deploying the God-given effect and compelling of their life.
Courage: To fan into flame the gift of God with full assurance of the love of God for them and the life of God in them.
I write at Beliefs of the Heart in order to nourish Intimate Theology. That is, to take God’s revealed truths and make them personal, intimate even.
It’s one thing to have heard that honey is sweet. It’s another thing altogether to taste it.
To be a believer is more than ivory-tower intellectualism, more than “just do it” practical’s, and more than heart-warming inspiration. Christianity is meeting the Creator, personally.
I write to introduce Christians (including this author) to Christ.
As a follower of Christ, it’s my life desire to be a man of hope, living an authentic life, sharing what I learn, and staying culturally relevant as a lifelong student of significant things.
To that end I love to write about truth and life, personal experiences and adventures, family, and conversations with God, telling stories that put truth within reach.
I believe God has called me to find the meaning buried in the chaos of daily life, to encourage readers to take on practical applications that lead to a deeper life. I want to write stories and insights that God can use to change the world.
